Precious Gems supports women and young people who are socially and economically disadvantaged to realise and utilise their potential to better meet their needs, stay resilient, develop themselves and their communities, and improve their health and wellbeing. We were granted consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in 2022. This gives us the opportunity to work even more closely in helping to achieve the SDG goals of the United Nations and the Africa Union’s Agenda 2063 as it relates to women and young people

We achieve these using the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which focuses on identifying and strengthening existing community assets to drive inclusive, sustainable development.
